Adjactives(sıfatlar) üzerinden değerlendirilir…

Birkaç sıfata bakacak olursak:

fast: hızlı

slow: yavaş

big: büyük

small: küçük

noisy: gürültülü

important: önemli

expensive: pahalı

good: iyi

• Adjectives with one syilable          >>          Bir hece ile yapılmış olan sıfatlar gurubu(Tek heceli sfatlar gurubu)

fast, slow... bu guruba örnek olabilir

Comparative(daha) "er"

fast     >>     faster(daha hızlı)

Superlative(en) "est"

fast     >>     the fastest(en hızlı)

• Adjecktive ending          >>          Son harfi -y ile biten sıfatlar gurubu

noisy, dirty(kirli), easy(kolay)...

Comparative "ier"

noisy     >>     noisier(daha gürültülü)

easier     >>     daha kolay

eirtier     >>     daha kirli

Superlative  "iest"

noisy     >>     the noisiest(e gürültülü)

• Adjective with 2 our were syilables          >>          2 veya daha fazla sıfatlar gurubu(uzun okunuşlu)

importaint, expensive…

Comparative(daha), "more"

more importaint     >>     daha önemli

more expensive     >>     daha pahalı

Superlative(en), "the most"

the most importaint     >>     en önemli

Ex:

'than' iki nesneyi birbirinden ayırıp -den,-dan eki getirir.

Benim arabam en hızlı.       >> >       My car is the fastest.

Benim sınıfım senin sınıfından daha küçük.       >> >       My class is smaller than your class.

Benim sınıfım en küçük.        >> >       My class is the smallest.

Benim evim senin evinden daha kirli.       >> >       My home dirtier than your home.

Benim evim en kirli.     >> >     My home the noisiest

Benim sokağım senin sokağından daha gürültülü.       >> >       My street is noiser than your street.

among us, birçok şeyin arasında... between, iki şeyin arasındaolarak kullanılır…
